IntelliChlor® – Performance and automation
The IntelliChlor is designed to integrate with more comprehensive installations: the IC15 (522109) is offered with a transformer, and the IC40 (520912) cell automatically produces chlorine for large pools, compatible with Pentair automation.
How does salt electrolysis work?
The cell passes a low current through salt water: this is electrolysis, which converts salt into active chlorine to sanitize the pool, then the chlorine recombines into salt—a continuous and ecological cycle. To maintain performance, the cell is replaced periodically.

Do I need to replace the cell?
