pH Plus, pH Minus: How do they work?

pH Plus products increase a pH that is too low; pH Minus products (or muriatic acid) lower a pH that is too high. A pH that is too high results in milky water and calcium deposits; a pH that is too low corrodes equipment and damages the liner.
