Zero phosphate, zero problems!
PHOSfree is formulated with lanthanum (rare earth) compounds. When added to your skimmer, a thin layer of PHOSfree forms on the filter media. As pool water passes through the filter, phosphates are reduced to very low levels. All other phosphate-based products will cloud your pool water! Natural Chemistry's complete phosphate program results in crystal clear water with no waterline rings, no unpleasant odors, and no phosphates.
Instructions for use:
1. If the pool contains algae, follow the instructions for treating it.
2. you need to chemically balance the water
3. Clean or backwash the filter, if necessary
4. Determine the required dose of PHOSfree from the table
Dosage table
Dose per 10,000 gallons (38,000 L)
Phosphate level PHOSfree dosage
300ppb or less 0.5L or 16oz
600ppb 1L or 32oz
900ppb 1.5L or 48oz
Note: It is recommended that you have your water tested by your dealer who will be able to accurately measure the phosphate level in your pool.
5. While the filter is running, shake the bottle well and add the required dose directly into the skimmer.
Note: If the DE filter pressure exceeds the normal range, replace the filter according to the manufacturer's instructions and restart. Repeat until the pressure remains within the normal range.
6. Run the filter 8 hours a day for a week or 48 hours continuously without backwashing or cleaning. When phosphate levels are 100 ppb or lower, begin maintenance with a weekly dose of: Pool Perfect+PHOSfree
Weekly maintenance dosage
1 capful (4 oz) per 8,000 gallons (30,000 L)
PHOSfree is designed to remove phosphates through filtration by applying a coating to the filter media. Depending on the phosphate level, multiple doses may be required.
Important: Do not add more than 1 L (32 oz) in a 48-hour period.
Important: Algae must be treated first, before testing and reducing phosphates. Chlorine must be below 5 ppm before testing for phosphates.
