New Hayward version: the SP1070 series. Hayward has replaced the SP10852 line with the SP1075S2 (white) and the SP1075S2DGR (dark grey). The SP10852OMTE remains available as long as we have stock remaining. Please note before comparing: the SP10852OMTE is a complete kit (skimmer, returns, drains, gaskets), whereas the SP1075S2 is the skimmer only. The plumbing also differs, with 1.5 in. or 2 in. here versus 2 in. x 2.5 in. glue-fit PVC on the new generation. Call us, and we will tell you which one is right for your installation.
The Hayward wide-mouth skimmer is designed to maximize the debris collection surface on the water's surface, ensuring more efficient filtration and a cleaner pool. Robust, reliable, and easy to install, it is ideal for residential inground pools.
Available in white (SP10852OMTE) or dark grey (SP10852OMTEDGR), it integrates discreetly with any type of liner or coping finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the SP10852OMTE and the SP1075S2?
The SP1075S2 is the model that succeeds this line at Hayward. Two differences matter: the SP10852OMTE is sold as a complete kit with returns and drains, while the SP1075S2 is the skimmer only; and the plumbing is not the same, 1.5 in. or 2 in. here versus 2 in. x 2.5 in. glue-fit PVC on the SP1075S2. For an identical replacement on an existing installation, call us before ordering.
White or dark grey?
No technical difference. It is an aesthetic choice based on the color of your liner and coping.
