In brief: 7-position Carvin Jacuzzi multiport valve, bolt-on mounting rather than clamp-style. Part 39262803R.
Bolt-on or clamp-style: they are not interchangeable
There are two ways to attach a multiport valve to a tank. The clamp, a metal band that secures the flange, and the bolt-on mount, where the valve screws directly onto the top of the tank.
The two are not interchangeable. Look at your filter: if you see bolts arranged in a circle on the top rather than a clamp with a nut, this is the model you need.

Frequently asked questions
When should it be replaced?
When sand returns to the pool, when water continuously flows to the waste port even while filtering, or when the handle no longer locks into its positions.
Should the bolts be replaced?
Inspect them. Corroded bolts that snap during tightening can turn a one-hour replacement into an afternoon of drilling.
What if my filter has a clamp?
Choose the clamp-style valve for Laser filters instead.
