two-speed pump ⁽²⁾

The two-speed pool pump combines efficient filtration and energy savings: ideal for reducing your electricity costs without investing in a variable speed pump. At Piscines Geyser, a specialist in Quebec since 2004, for above-ground and in-ground pools. Delivery across Quebec and Canada.

How does a two-speed pump work?

It offers two settings: a low speed for daily filtration (quiet and economical, up to 70% savings) and a high speed for cleaning, vacuuming, shock treatment, or heavy use.

Our selection

The Hayward TurboFlo II 1.5 HP 2-speed (SP57152ET): robust, reliable, and designed for above-ground pools.

Why choose a two-speed pump?

Significant reduction in consumption, longer equipment life, and a more affordable solution than a variable speed pump—while still being eligible for less assistance from the LogisVert program.

Frequently Asked Questions

Two-speed or variable speed?

The two-speed is cheaper to buy and already much more economical than a single-speed; the variable speed offers maximum savings and more settings.

When to use high speed?

For cleaning, vacuuming, shock treatment, or during heavy use; the rest of the time, low speed is sufficient.
